Transforming Downtown Auckland
Auckland’s downtown has changed significantly over the past decade. Projects such as Quay Street and Te Komititanga have reconnected the city centre with the Waitematā Harbour, creating places where people want to spend time, not just move through. The next stages are being planned and will bring together public transport and street improvements, alongside private development, to shape the next phase of the city centre.
