Temporary pontoon proposed

Major businesses and stakeholders have thrown their weight behind a proposal for a new pontoon bridge as a temporary measure to replace the broken Wynyard Crossing Bridge. Supporters believe a swing bridge at water level - shown in the image above - could be built in four to six weeks, providing a vital reconnection for businesses and residents.
