Fares on Auckland’s public transport are set to rise by 4%. A new off-peak discount of 10% will be in place from 7th Feb on all fares after 9am and before 3pm, and and at night weekdays and all weekends. Auckland Transport said about half of all passengers would pay an average 35 cents more for each trip using the AT HOP card from February 7.
The changes will boost AT’s revenue by an estimated $4.3 million.
