Auckland Transport is proposing to increase public transport fares by 5.2% from February and reduce the number of fare zones from 14 to 9. The two-zone fare, which is the most popular, will go up from $4.45 to $4.65. The newly-introduced AT Hop weekly cap of $50 will remain unchanged.
