This Panuku update focusses on the improvement works taking place in the Eastern Viaduct area. This includes Quay Street, Te Wero Island, and the Te Wero Bridge. The Wynyard Crossing Bridge will undergo repair and maintenance works from 8 - 11 June 2021. These works involve the hydraulic motors being replaced with electric motors. Access over the bridge will be narrowed to allow for the motor replacement. Anyone travelling across the bridge on wheels is advised to dismount so that everyone can use the bridge safely.
