Over 2 million train trips in a month

AT have reported that more than 2 million trips have been taken on trains in the first month since the City Rail Link (CRL) launched, with two thirds of those journeys travelling through the new tunnels and stations. Waitematā remains the busiest station on the network, while key transport hubs including Panmure (+42%), New Lynn (+47%) Sylvia Park (+56%) and Newmarket (+17%) have recorded strong growth, highlighting the benefits of a more connected network.
