A long-awaited flyover set to reduce congestion at one of New Zealand’s busiest intersections will open to vehicles soon, five months ahead of schedule and below budget. Rā Hihi, also known locally as the Reeves Rd Flyover, directly links the Pakuranga Highway to the Waipuna Bridge in east Auckland. The structure carries four lanes of traffic and will ease congestion around the Pakuranga Town Centre.
