A recent study in the UK showed that the average car or van in England is driven just 4% of the time. For the rest of the time its either parked at home (73%) or parked elsewhere (23%) for example at work. The report also shows that cars have got bigger over the decades. So do we really still need big garages or can we move towards car sharing and use the space occupied by parked cars for something else?
