Census 2023 sheds light on how we commute

Working from home saw a big jump in Auckland from 8.7% to 18.2%. Historically, Auckland has always had a slightly higher share of driving than the country as a whole. However, the rise of working from home has changed that: for the first time driving in Auckland was below the national average. Read more from Greater Auckland below:
