Auckland Transport (AT) has commissioned a 300-passenger hybrid-electric boat, the fourth low-emission ferry ordered for the region. AT has signed contracts worth $20 million with Q-West Boat Builders and HamiltonJet and plans to have the ferry on its downtown to Devonport run from 2026.
