The annual Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Marathon is taking place on Sunday 30 October 2022 and will attract more than 15,000 participants. The marathon course starts from Devonport, goes over Auckland Harbour Bridge, continuing along the Auckland Waterfront to the finish in Victoria Park.
