5 options for new Harbour crossing announced today



The Government announced this morning that construction on a second Waitematā harbour crossing will begin in 2029. It unveiled five options tunnels, bridges or a combination of both.

The Government also confirmed that there will be a regular walking and cycling connection across the harbour. The costs are estimated to be between $15 - $25 billion.
