New laws in the UK mean it's hands free only in the car. You need to be able to answer your phone without touching the phone itself. The new law is trying to combat the rising number of deaths caused by people using devices while driving. Your phone must be securely mounted in a holder which doesn't obstruct your view of the road. You can use sat-nav but you need to set it up before you head off and it must be hands free.
